Glass Fusing
In our fusing workshop you will learn how to cut and layer small pieces of flat sheet glass, thin glass stringers, and crushed glass chips to create a personal suncatcher, dish or windchime set. These glass pieces are then secured to a flat base piece of glass using non-toxic glue. Your finished piece is heated in a kiln overnight to create a permanent bond between the various glass components. All creations are ready for pick up the next day.
This intuitive and approachable glass fusing experience is offered for individuals and groups. Recommended minimum age for enjoyment is 4-5 years old.
Our workshop is currently open Wednesday through Sunday 10-5, located at the upmost section of the Art Colony at the Greenbrier.
Walk-ins are welcome and reservations may secure seats for up to 7 guests to work at once. Please contact our gallery for more information.
