Max Clair

 

Max has been working with hot glass periodically since the age of 12. He was first introduced to glass through flameworking courses in his hometown of Rochester, NY, as well as at the Corning Museum of Glass.

 

In the years following, the opportunity arose to receive a summer apprenticeship with Virtu Studio owner and operator Alex Brand. This lead to a full time position in 2018. 

 

Max believes that people continue to grow and learn until the day they die, and encourages every individual he meets to make the most of everyday, and to never be afraid to making mistakes.
